I’ve never made soup before, but this recipe seems pretty simple so I’ll give it a try. I’m excited because we actually have a grill now, so I can actually grill the corn!
Although this soup was not difficult or confusing to make, it did take many steps and a lot of time.
I didn’t really like the flavor of the soup, but it really was fun to make! Something about putting a whole bunch of things together in a pot and ending up with something that has the flavor of all of those combined things is pretty satisfying.
The soup didn’t taste bad – like I did something wrong in the process – it just wasn’t a flavor that I really liked.
Ease: C+, like I mentioned before, nothing really hard or complicated, but it was a pretty long process with lots of cutting and chopping and mincing and measuring.
Taste: C, I didn’t like it. It was very flavorful, just not a flavor that I enjoy.
Will I make it again? Probably not, but if I find someone that likes this soup, I would be willing to make it again. I do like the process of making soup, so I would like to try other varieties.
