Hey, look, another Thinkfood recipe!
This recipe comes from Amy of Super Healthy Kids. You can find the recipe here. (Unfortunately the recipe post is no longer available) This is Thinkfood recipe number 25 (Yes, I realize I am going out of order right now.) be sure to check out the rest of the Thinkfood recipes that I have made so far by clicking on the Thinkfood tab in the upper left corner.
These were incredibly easy to make. Really, all that you do is mix all of the ingredients together and throw them in the oven for a while. They do take an hour to bake, but the prep time before that takes less than 5 minutes.
I’m not a huge almond fan, but these were pretty good. I mean, they tasted like cinnamon sugary almonds.
Ease: A+, aside from having to stir them around every 15 minutes while they were in the oven, it is really no big deal at all.
Taste: B, like I said, I’m not a huge almond fan, but these definitely weren’t bad. If you like almonds, I’m sure you would like them even more!
Would I make them again? Yeah, I think so. They would make a great gift for an almond loving friend, or a great snack to have out when having people over.
