Kitchen Things: Soup and Sandwich Tray Duo

I know I am not a culinary genius or anything, but sometimes I find kitchen things that I love.  By that I mean that they are actually useful, not just cute.  Although there are definitely things that I’ve bought just because they are cute, and they serve their purpose just as well.

I bought all of these things myself (of they were given as gifts) and would only ever give you my honest opinion.  I thought I would start a series of posts to showcase these fun items that have made my kitchen time more enjoyable. 🙂

So here we go!

The first item that I would like to share with you is the Soup and Sandwich Tray Duo.  I bought this a few years ago, shortly after we moved into our house.  The initial intention was to use it for grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup – which it got used for quite often.  However, over the years it has been put to use in many different ways.

(This post could also be titled: The Foods that Kelly Eats on a Weekly Basis and Doesn’t Blog About)

Soup Bowl Plate

The soup bowl is not attached to the tray in any way, so you could definitely use either one separately as well.  Also, it is dishwasher safe – because that is pretty much a prerequisite for being in our kitchen. 🙂

Mac and Cheese Bowl

Macaroni and Cheese and Tortilla Chips

Bagel Plate

Cheesy Bagel and Tomato Soup

There are, of course MANY other variations of foods you could use these for.  Chili and crackers works well with the tray, or you can just use the bowl by itself.

If you are interested in getting your own Soup and Sandwich Tray Duo, you can find it online at Uncommon Goods (one of my favorite websites) here.

This set was one of the first cute kitchen things that I bought for myself and I’m glad that years later, it still holds up and still gets used very often!
