Full Disclosure: I paid for this meal with my own money and I was in no way reimbursed for this blog post. The opinions are completely my own.
Time for coffee shop stop number two of my short time in the CDNY area. After Heather, Julie and I were done savoring our food and tea at The Whistling Kettle, we walked down the road to Coffee Planet to hang out and work on our computers.
The people at Coffee Planet were very nice, and the atmosphere was very homey and eclectic.
They even understood when apparently their internet couldn’t handle three people being on at the same time and we had to restart the modem…..more than once….
Since I hadn’t eaten anything at The Whistling Kettle, I had a bagel and cream cheese, which was delicious. I know I’ve said in the past that I could live off of bagels, but seriously, New York bagels are so good. Fresh bagels are the only other bagels that I will eat other than Bagels Forever bagels that I love.
Taste: A, the chewy New York style bagel and cream cheese was delicious.
Cost: A, very reasonably priced for a small coffee shop bagel.
Would I go there again? If I was in the area, yes. However, I did like the atmosphere – and more reliable internet – at J Watts better.
