I won’t drag this one out with a long explanation about why I decided to make them.
Its simple, just read the name. Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars. Doesn’t that just make you drool?
I just had to make them, there really is no occasion or long story behind it.
They come from the fabulous My Baking Addiction. There are many other tasty things on this site, so I’m sure you will see more from there soon! You can find this delicious recipe here.
I should warn you. These are very rich. The piece you see on the plate is about double of what I ate as a serving. It is also worth noting that you really should wait until they are cooled, or even refrigerated before you eat them. Yes, I realize that the instructions say to put them in the refrigerator after cooking and serve them cool or at room temperature, but come on, who can resist a delicious dessert hot out of the oven? So I did try them right out of the oven, and they tasted odd. Not bad, it was just weird to taste cheesecake warm I think. They are much, much better served cool. SO rich, but very delicious.
Ease: B, these do involve quite a few steps, but it really is worth it in the end, they just take a little more work than normal.
Taste: A, very rich but very good.
Would I make them again? More than likely yes…..I just need to make sure there are plenty of people to share them with. 🙂
