Full Disclosure: I paid for this meal with my own money and I was in no way reimbursed for this blog post. The opinions are completely my own.
Last Saturday, bright and early, I headed down to Vilas Park to meet Jessica for Salutation Nation. If you are not familiar, Salutation Nation is a FREE yoga event put on by Lululemon every year.
We got our yoga on (and we also found Holly) and then we were in desperate need of food and beverage. (and no, even though it was a Badger home game, not THAT kind of beverage, just coffee.) So Jess and I headed to Zuzu Cafe, just a short walk from the park.
Upon entering we both spotted the daily specials right away and agreed that it sounded delicious. Egg and Cheddar Cheese on sourdough bread and a coffee. YUM. Simple and delicious, just what I as craving at that moment.
Taste: A+, fresh and delicious!
Cost: A+, My coffee and sandwich together were around $5. That is an awesome deal for qood, quality, local food!
Would I go there again? Definitely. I will keep it in mind next time I’m in the area!

Speaking of Jessica, she is hosting a blog fundraiser today!
She is raising funds for the Chron’s and Colitis Foundation of America! There will be lots of baked goods to bid on, as well as a knit cowl made by me! I love this cowl and am so excited to help Jess raise money! Go to Healthy Dairyland and bid away!
Don’t know what to bid on? I would love some Savvy Scones…..or Pretzel Bread….or really about anything on the list…. 🙂

I wish Salutation Nation was every weekend! That was fun! Thanks for sharing the bake sale!! I believe one bidder’s email said, “I need that scarf in my life.” You should open an Etsy shop!
So technically…..I have an Etsy shop….and it is on my 101 in 1001 to actually like open and sell things from it. LOL ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/pugtails ) I have had things for sale in the past but have never sold anything!
