Little Things [4]

I’m the first to admit that I have a bit of a coffee addiction.  Once I found out about the Starbucks Gold Card (once you earn gold status, you get free flavor shots among other benefits.  Its pretty sweet.) I was definitely hooked for good.  When I awoke Tuesday morning (November 1) I was excited to see lots of Tweets that Starbucks had rolled out the famous red holiday cups!   Some might say that November 1 is too early, but I’m ok with starting to celebrate the Holidays as early as others want to.  Christmas makes me happy.  The red cups make happy.  The snow can hold off a bit longer though 🙂

  1. This is the third or fourth blog post I’ve seen about the red cups! Some complaining, some excited. I, personally, am excited to see the holiday spirit starting to come alive for 2011! 🙂 But I agree about the snow!

    • Hooray for someone else who is excited about the holidays!! I was pretty surprised that they were out this early, but I’m definitely loving it 🙂

  2. Aaah yes the return of red cups!! I was so excited to have my first holiday cup yesterday! 😀

  3. I’m excited about the holidays, but it IS early. It’s hard to keep the spirit up for so long, especially when there are so many Debbie Downers. They seem to multiply during the holidays.

Though, while I’m not a big coffee drinker, when the cooler weather and holiday spirit comes, I definitely frequent Starbucks a bit more than usual!

and we so rarely get snow down here…I’d totally take some now! It doesn’t have to wait! 🙂

    • Ok, you do have a good point about the Debbie Downers. They definitely multiply during the holidays…especially since I work retail, I feel like I see it even more! :/

I would be happy to send you snow any day – but I wouldn’t trade it for those ridiculously hot days that you had last summer. 🙂
