After conquering yeast for my first Thanksgiving bread, I decided to stick with something I was more familiar with for the second batch. These cheddar sage biscuits sounded delicious and fairly easy to make, so I decided to go for it. These biscuits come from the fabulous food blog Two Peas and Their Pod. I have many recipes of theirs bookmarked to make later, so you are sure to see more recipes by them in the future! You can find this recipe here.
These biscuits were delicious! They aren’t super cheesy, but have enough to give them a little extra flavor. They were also pretty easy to make. It is kind of a pain to cut in the butter, but it is definitely worth it in the end for the texture that it creates.
Ease: A-, cutting in the butter is a little bit time consuming and tedious, but worth it in my opinion.
Taste: A, the perfect texture and great tasting.
Would I make them again? Yeah I think so. They would work really well with any kind of comfort food type of meal, I think the cheese and sage in them gives them that “homey” kind of flavor and feel.
