Every week Katy – the sweet lady who blogs over at Katy Loves – posts her “weekend cravings” on Fridays. Since she started doing this a few weeks ago I’ve thought it was a great idea – kind of like loose goals for the weekend, but they generally only include things you are looking forward to doing. 🙂
This week, I finally got my act together and decided to join her and share my weekend cravings.
- Knitting. So I haven’t had a knitting project in a while, and have kind of been craving something to knit that is more than a scarf or hat. The problem is that I don’t have a very long attention span when it comes to some things, and I don’t have a lot of time. Then Allyson over at Sweatshop of Love announced a knit-along for an adorable cardigan. I reeeeaaally hesitated at first, because I really don’t have time. But it looked so cute, and not all that hard to make (no cables!) that I finally gave in this week and bought the pattern and materials. So I guess I’m knitting a sweater now. It is on my 101 in 1001 list….
- Football. The Superbowl is this Sunday, and sadly the Packers didn’t make it this year 🙁 The good news is that the big game is always a great excuse to get people together and watch TV and hang out for a while. Really, the commercials are sometimes more interesting than the game itself, right? This leads right to my next two cravings:
- Friends
- Food
- Relaxation – that is what the weekend is all about, isn’t it? 🙂
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!! What are YOU craving?
