I know I talked about it once already this week, but I’m really loving the cooler temperatures we are having! Although it is a bit hard to dress for the whole day when it is 50 degrees when I leave in the morning and 75 degrees when I get home. Fall is the season where my car fills up with cardigans and sweaters that I layer with in the morning and shed in the afternoon when it is sunny and warm.
Fall is also the season of knitting. I’m working on a full post about things I’ve been knitting this year so far, hopefully I’ll have it up in the next week. But anyways, cool weather is knitting weather. One of my favorite activities during this season is sitting on the couch covered with blankets (and warm fuzzy animals) knitting, watching college football, and drinking coffee. Love it.
So, hopefully this weekend is filled with lots of knitting, and coffee, and football watching. And maybe even some apple picking….but I hear that because of the weird weather that we had over the summer led to a not-so-great apple crop in Wisconsin so we’ll see if I actually get to pick anything.
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

i’m super bummed about the lack of you-pick apples this year. i just did some searching and calling around yesterday and it sounds like almost everywhere isn’t having it.
Aw man, that stinks! 🙁
I’ve totally had “yarn brain” lately. I was just looking at the fall colors in my stash today.
