Favorite writing utensils lately:
1. Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Markers – most markers are good, but these in particular don’t get smooshed down quickly and write smoothly, also they are permanent and will write on pretty much any surface.
2. American Crafts Precision Pen, .05 Point – this was actually kind of a surprise to me. I got a few to use for my project life, and while I am not generally a fan of super fine tip markers I really like these! They write very smoothly, and they seem more durable than many fine tip pens that I’ve used before.
The times that I have run in 2013:
1. January 19 – 2.37 miles – 29:38
2. March 14 – 1.93 miles – 21:54
Last two tweets that I favorited:
Ben and Leslie might be my favorite fictional couple ever. #parksandrec

Places that I get to visit this year for the first time in a long time:
1. Las Vegas! There is a work event that I go to that is going to be there for the first time in three years! Going there every year for a few years in a row did get a little boring, but now I’m excited to go back! I love all of the fun shows to see there, and shopping, and the FOOD!
2. The Twin Cities! I can’t tell you the last time I was actually in the Minneapolis/St Paul area, it has been many years. I’m excited to go back there this year for the Healthy Living Summit! I’m also excited that HLS is so close to home this year – I hope some of my midwestern friends plan to come, too!!
The most recently played songs on my iTunes playlist:
1. This Is The New Year – Glee Cast
2. Carry On– Fun.
Things on my 101 in 1001 list that I am looking forward to crossing off in the near future:
1. I officially have tickets to go see Wicked while it is in town this Spring and I cannot wait!!
2. I’m going to see a few movies during the Wisconsin Film Festival in April, and a couple of them have subtitles!
Favorite forms of social media:
1. Twitter
2. Instagram (Truth: I took the screenshot below twice, the first time showed entirely pug and nail polish photos and I wanted to look a bit less obsessed…)
Other places on the internet you can find me:
1. Google + – I still don’t really get it, but I’m starting to learn!
2. Facebook
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Is that Essie “butler please” nail polish?? It looks it (I have it) but find that it chips within 2 days of putting it on.
The blue polish? No, it is Color Club Insta-this!
Ha ha, oh well! They look awesome!
Thanks!
As for it chipping – I kind of feel like a lot of the brighter colors that I wear chip easily – but maybe since it is so bright it is just easier to notice?
Essie is terrible for chipping! I love their colors, but I hate spending $7 on a bottle of polish that always looks terrible!
You are going to love Wicked! Enjoy!
Yes, I’m so excited!! I know the music already (of course) and it is some of my favorite!
Love your fun nails and love your favorite-ed Twitter quote: We become what we spend our time believing. Worrying is praying for what you don’t want. What will you pray for instead, today?
What a great thing to think about. 🙂
I love these Twosday posts. I look forward to them. They’re so much fun.
Awww, thanks! They feel more organized to me than just a list of random things 🙂
um, those pens look super nifty, I might need to get some.
also, please note, Aaron and I are only in Season 4 of Parks and Rec, towards the beginning of Season 4, actually. WHAT. I know, right? so like… I’m sad right now…
oh my dear. Season 4 is good….but season 5 is SO good. You just wait 🙂
i’ve been curious about the american crafts pens…i might have to get some for myself!
also, i love your pug + nail polish filled instagram feed! i edit myself a lot to prevent mine from being 100% the jake & capone show.
I was really unsure about them but then i found some at Marshall’s so I decided to give them a try and seriously they are awesome.
I also just bought the Project Life branded American Crafts pens ( these –> http://www.beckyhiggins.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/380088_PL_18pk_Pens2-copy.jpg ) from HSN.
