Project Life Week 13 {March 24-30, 2013}

Another week of Project Life!

I definitely wasn’t on top of my game this week and ended up doing a lot of this on Saturday and Sunday (which is why you are seeing this on Monday instead of the usual Sunday post!) but it gone done, and that is what matters.

The left page is pretty simple.  Photos that you’ve already seen on Wordless Wednesday, a thank you card that I received from a baby gift that I sent, and a couple of fillers.

Some detail.

The right page includes a few more interesting things. The top left is a (bad) photo of a dinner that I had with some relatives at The Old Fashioned.  (Yes, dinner also included cheese curds, obviously those were eating too quickly for a photo to be taken)  The instaweather photo is of a day this week that I just couldn’t pass up running since it is FINALLY getting a bit warmer….even though the run was not stellar.

The bottom left is a photo and a business cards from my BAMR Bands order!  I’m not sure that I NEEDED another headband…but I couldn’t resist that blue chevron!! I’ve only worn it once so far, but I like the thickness a lot, and LOVE the pattern!  I know there are a ton of headband shops out there now, but I really like the unique patterns that Katie is using, and of course it is for a great cause.  Oh, and that red polka dotted one…hopefully I will be wearing that for a race in the not so distant future…

My Julep Maven (affiliate link) box came this week, too! In case you don’t remember me talking about the one I got last month….well you don’t remember because I didn’t get one!  One of the things that I LOVE about the Julep Box program is that you can skip a month at any time, so I decided to skip that last one and save some money since I didn’t really love any of the colors.  Anyways.  The theme of this month is brights, which I am loving on my nails right now.  One of the other things that I love about the Julep box is the little extras that are sometimes included with the shipment.  Since I pick my polishes ahead of time, I like that there is still a tiny bit of surprise when I get the box.  One of the things that is always in the monthly box is a fun little quote card.  I’m a bit obsessed with quotes.  Here is a close up of the one from this month:

The green paper background of the quote (and the piece below it) are from the packing of the Julep box. And I am just now realizing that those corners around rounded and it is bothering me so I will probably go fix that.  Whoops!

Hope you all had a good week!

    also, i love that photo of the capital on the left page. <3 it's been too long since i was downtown.

    • Yes, I am loving the bright colors for Spring, too! I did buy one add on this time.

      I feel like I don’t go downtown forever and then I end up being there a ton. I hadn’t been there in a long time and now I’ve been there twice in the past week and am going back down tomorrow! whew!
