Project Life Week 17 {April 21-27, 2013}

Another week of Project Life!

This week started out with a much needed mini spa day thanks to Madison Magazine Spa and Salon Month. (It used to be a week but it was so popular, they made it a whole month this year!) I try to take advantage of awesome specials on spa services any time they come around, and the specials during spa month are usually particularly amazing.  I went to Kneaded Relief in Fitchburg to get a herbal wrap, scalp massage, and express facial.  I was there for about three hours total and the whole thing cost $149.00 (plus tip).  It was wonderful.

This week my husband had a birthday, and we went to dinner at Quivey’s Grove with his family to celebrate.

 Also, on Tuesday of that week, I volunteered to take photos at an elementary school science night. It was a lot of fun.  There were a lot of different science related topics being taught, physics, engineering, biology, and more.  One of the more interesting things that I saw was a hand crank blender that was being used to make green smoothies! And yes, there were many elementary school students drinking and enjoying them.

On the 27th, my brother and his girlfriend came up from Chicago, and the whole family got together to celebrate birthdays. (my brother’s girlfriend, the husband, my dad, uncle, and aunt, were all born in April!) My brother, his girlfriend, and I went to a paint-your-own pottery place during the day, and we all got together for a grill out dinner that night. It was a good day.

During that week I also received a Bestowed Box to review, and that review (and more!) will hopefully be up on the blog next week!

Oh, and probably the biggest thing that I did during that week was sign the papers for a new car! I didn’t actually get the car until the next week, so you’ll see more about it then. 🙂

Some more detail, and the “Choose Happy” 4×3 card which is one of my recent favorite printable downloads.  You can find it here.

I’m officially caught up! (for now at least) Hopefully I’ll have Week 18 up tomorrow!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!
