Brew Over Ice Review and {Giveaway!}

Full Disclosure:  I was sent some Brew Over Ice product for review, and they are also providing the product for the giveaway winner.  I am not being compensated for this post, and the opinions are completely my own.

For Christmas a couple of years ago, I got a Keurig single cup brewer.  My coffee maker had just died and I was in the market for a new one.  Since I am the only one in my household that drinks coffee I was looking at single cup brewers.  A few people that I knew had recently gotten Keurig brewers and had nothing but good things to say about them, so I decided to ask for one as well.

I’ve loved it ever since. It makes a cup of coffee quickly and easily, and if you don’t want to buy the pre-made K-Cups, you can buy an insert to use your own coffee!  One of the other reasons that I wanted the Keurig is that you can brew things other than coffee in it.  In all honesty though…I have only brewed hot coffee in it…until recently…

Brew Over Ice

When I was approached by the people at Brew Over Ice to do a review and giveaway, I jumped at the chance.  Finally I had a chance to use my Keurig to its fullest! Brew Over Ice makes various different flavors, many of which are not coffee.  There are several different varieties of tea, coffee, lemonade, and more available! Brew Over Ice sent me a nice little package with three different flavors to try, an ice bucket, tongs, coasters, and a cold cup!

The first flavor that I tried was the Donut Shop Sweet and Creamy Regular Iced Coffee. I’m not a huge creamy iced coffee fan – I prefer my iced coffee on the blacker side – so I didn’t love it. However, it did remind me of those bottled/canned iced coffee drinks, which I think is pretty impressive for something that just comes out of a little packet!

One of the other things that I’ve heard people love about the Keurig (and that I was honestly a bit skeptical about) is that you can brew different things right after one another and the flavors don’t mix. So, I decided to test this out, and make all three of the different flavors right after each other. Its true, no flavor carryover at all!

My favorite flavor that I tried was actually the Snapple Peach Iced Tea.  I’m not an iced tea fan really, but this had a very fruity flavor that I enjoyed!  I also really want to try the lemonade, hazelnut iced coffee, and the Snapple raspberry iced tea since I liked the peach!

Do you have a Keurig? Have you tried the Brew Over Ice products? Would you like to?  Well here’s your chance! I have a prize package, just like the one I got, to give away!
