Full Disclosure: I paid for this meal with my own money. I am not being compensated for this post and the opinions are completely my own.
One of the first “official” events of the Healthy Living Summit weekend (aka – actually a group event, not just me and a few others working on HLS related tasks, or packing swag bags) was a mini-mingle trip to Yogurt Lab for FroYo, organized by Mindy. You know I can’t turn down an opportunity to try a new frozen yogurt shop!

It seems like frozen yogurt shops have been popping up on every corner, but this one seemed pretty unique. Their “periodic table of flavors” was a cool way to display what flavors were offered, and many of them were super unique. They also had tons of toppings. It was the serve yourself style where you pay by weight, which seems to be the direction that everyone is going, and the way I prefer.
As usual, I steered in the fruity direction. I started with the original tart, strawberry, and pineapple yogurt and topped it with fresh strawberries, pineapple, gummi bears, boba, and mochi. This was seriously one of my favorite yogurt creations I’ve ever had. I’m not usually a fan of flavored yogurt, but the pineapple and strawberry flavors were spot on. Not super sweet and artificial tasting, just fresh and juicy.
Taste: A+, really delicious.
Cost: A, I don’t really remember exactly how much it cost but I don’t remember it being much different than other places that I’ve been.
Would I go there again? If I was in the area I would absolutely go again. Dear Yogurt Lab: Please open a location in Madison ASAP.
