Project Life Week 37 {September 8-14, 2013}

Week 37! #HLS13 week!

Yes, I was home for two whole days after being in Philadelphia for a wedding before heading to Minneapolis on Wednesday for the Healthy Living Summit. It was a little bit of crazy only being at work for two days, but it all worked out and thats what matters.

Oh, and I added a whole page in the middle, so it is pretty much two spreads worth of photos.

The first night, after spending some time downtown, and eating dinner at The News RoomMindy, Heather, Julie, and I stayed at Julie’s parents’ house a short drive away.  They have an adorable little dog, that of course I had to include. I brought some super cute (and of course delicious) cupcakes with the #HLS13 hashtag on them from Cupcakes A Go Go for our slumber party.

 Thursday, the four of us headed back downtown to prepare for the Summit, and meet up with some small group outings.  The first that I went to was a FroYo mini-mingle, which of course was delicious.After that I gathered with a different group of people to head to Uptown for dinner at Chino Latino. More delicious food.  Minneapolis really has some stellar food options.

Friday night was the cocktail party, which was held at the Guthrie Theatre.  Such a fun venue, with a gorgeous view of the city!

Then, of course, Saturday was the full Summit day, filled with awesome and inspiring sessions and speakers.  I just love being a part of the Healthy Living Summit.  This was my fourth year attending, and I swear it gets better every year. Heather and Julie did an awesome job organizing, and it was so great to work with my fellow Dream Team members Mindy, Elizabeth, Alicia, Kristin, and Molly, to help with the event. The healthy living community is really an amazing thing.  It is so fun to see new faces and old friends every year!!

And of course, the Summit would not be what it is without the awesome sponsors.  It makes me so happy that some of my favorite brands are involved, and that I always find new favorites through the amazing swag that is given out each year.

Shout out to Kona Kase for not only providing a full box in the swag bags, but for the fun quote in the box that is a perfect size for Project Life!

Pssst…in case you haven’t heard, Healthy Living Summit 2014 will be in Madison, WI!! I can’t wait to show you all my city!
