Project Life Week 42 {October 13-19, 2013}

Week 42!

Another normal Fall week.  The chilly Fall weather is definitely here in full force, which I love and hate at the same time.  I love it because I get to wear lots of layers, and drink warm coffee, and knit, and look at the pretty colored falling leaves, and think about upcoming holidays.  But also the colder weather is a bit of a shock to the system – but a month from now I know I will be longing for temperatures in the 40’s like they are now instead of November and December Wisconsin weather.

I also got a couple of Klout perks to try some of their new things.  Well, really for the husband to their new things.  Though, I have heard that they have pretty decent coffee, so that may come in handy on one of these dreary, cold, Fall days.

This is one of my favorite recent photos of Olive and Miss Kitty.  I don’t know if its the cold weather, or what, but they tend to magnetize to me when I get home and sit on the couch.

This month I got another ipsy bag (referral link) and it was another good one! Again the bag was packed full with products, including some Zoya nail polish, and Buxom lip polish.  This is now the fourth month that I’ve gotten ipsy and I can definitely say that I like it better than Birchbox, which I got for a year (but don’t currently get) and is similar, but the selection and products you get I just don’t think are as good as ipsy – at least as far as things interest me, and I will use.

This week I also ordered a couple of things from one of my favorite Etsy shops, bama+ry.  One of them was this Dreamer bracelet that I’ve been eyeing for a while for myself, and the other was a gift.  They were both fantastic quality, and very nice packaging.  Not to mention I got to meet Jasmine in September at the Healthy Living Summit in Minneapolis, and she is such a sweet lady. Highly recommend bama+ry.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. your project life progress is inspiring me! the last week i have finished is the 2nd week of September… 🙁 I printed two weeks of photos this weekend though & i’m gearing up to catch up!!

    • I am SO happy to be back on track and caught up. I love the routine of getting a layout done on Saturday mornings. At least you have the photos printed already, that is the most annoying part for me!
