Project Life Week 49 {December 1-7, 2013}

Week 49! Slowly but surely I am catching up with the last few weeks of 2013.

The first day of the week was my birthday! It was a great day, aside from turning 30 which still seems weird. I got to relax a lot, got some great presents, and we got a Christmas tree!  Possibly the earliest we’ve ever gotten a tree, so that was pretty fun and exciting. (also, the little tag from the tree that is in the spread, is one of my favorite parts of this spread.)

One of the big things that I got for my birthday was the special edition PopSugar Must Have ( affiliate link) box from Neiman Marcus.  It was filled with tons of good stuff, as usual for the Pop Sugar boxes.  Also, for my birthday, my friends at Culvers sent me a gift certificate for a free value basket, and a few to give away, too!

The big event of the week (well, aside from my birthday) was the Grate Pair Share launch Party at Old Sugar Distillery put on by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.  There was a great spread of cheese and charcuterie as well as some amazing pies by humble.  Definitely check out the Grate Pair Share online magazine if you are looking for great, fun, and easy, recipes!

I also got another Stitchfix (affiliate link) this week, too!  I’m always happy with them, but this was definitely the best yet. I ended up keeping a sweatshirt, scarf, and jeans.  Yes, I said jeans. Maroon colored jeans in fact.  I never would have thought that jeans that I got in the mail that someone else picked out for me would have a chance at fitting properly, but these jeans fit me so perfectly its crazy.  It was a no brainer to keep them, now I just wish I know where I could find them in stores!
