Week 51! I didn’t quite make it through all of 2013 before the beginning of 2014, but hopefully by the end of the week I’ll be all caught up.
This week was busy with work and not much else. I definitely struggled to fill the pages of the spreads so I had to get a bit creative with embellishments, but luckily I had at least a couple of photos to put in.
Also this week, we had a Secret Santa exchange at work. I got a heating pad and some fuzzy socks which is perfect for me because I am always cold! Also, how adorable is the little typewriter note that was with it?!
This week I received my first Influenster box. (Full disclosure: they sent me free things to check out, I am under no obligation to post about them, all of the opinions are completely my own, and I am not being compensated) I had seen a couple of blogger friends getting the boxes, so I decided to give it a shot. It works a little bit like Klout in that you get product samples because they think you and your social media standings are a good fit. The box that I received was the Jolly Vox Box. I was actually pretty impressed with what was in it! Some makeup, some food, and some other random fun things – the perfect box to help celebrate the most wonderful time of the year! I haven’t tried everything in the box yet, but favorites right off the bat were the Ducklings Mini Roll of Duck Tape (something that I own several others of!) and the Puffs travel pack of tissues, which are perfect for a season when everyone seems to have the sniffles.

i have a date with my (new!!!) photo printer this weekend to finish my december daily & project life 2013. i’m too afraid i wouldn’t finish 2013 if i started on 2014 before it’s done, so i’m not letting myself!
Yay for a new printer! I got one for my birthday last month and it has made all the difference in my productivity! I just have the last week to finish up before I start on 2014 and I’m hoping to get that done this weekend, too.
Okay, I thought project life was just something you did……but now I’m starting to think maybe its a branded thing? Do you have a post where you explain it all?
