Project Life Week 52 {December 22-28, 2013}

Week 52!  Even though there are a few days left in 2013 after this week, this will be the last week in my 2013 binder.  It is kind of crazy for me to think that I made it through a whole year of Project Life without being too far behind.  The project isn’t a difficult one, but it seems so big when you consider having done it for an entire year!

This was a busy week!  Lots of Christmas preparations and celebrations.

On Monday we went over to my parents’ house to make cookies with the family.  Tuesday was Christmas Eve and we went back over to my parents’ house in the evening for dinner and present opening.

Then it was Christmas! Presents, and more presents, and brunch, and actually some relaxing because the snow cancelled some of our travel plans.  While we were sad to miss seeing some family, it was actually kind of a nice break from what had been a super busy few weeks.

The day after Christmas, the husband and I had lunch with some friends that were in town for the holidays.  We went to Vintage Brewing Co and I had the most delicious sandwich I’ve had in a long time.  It was basically a chicken tender melt.  So good.   Oh and cheese curds…because how can you resist?

I didn’t take very many photos at all at Christmas, which was partially intentional (I wanted to be more engaged with people, rather than just behind that camera) but I wish I had taken more to put into my layouts! Lesson learned, next time I will make a point to take photos.

I didn’t photograph them, but I also put all of the Christmas cards that we got this year in an insert, and I put the birth announcements that we’ve gotten throughout the year in an insert in the back of the binder as well. (I did the same thing with my birthday cards too.)

And on to 2014!

I’m a little torn about actually blogging about my Project Life spreads in 2014.  It isn’t really much more work, but sometimes I feel like I just don’t really have anything to say and it ends up as a super boring blog post.  Even if I don’t blog specifically about each spread, there will still be some Project Life talk on the blog though, I just love it so much not to talk about it!

 I would love to know your thoughts on this! Do you enjoy my Project Life posts?  Take ’em or leave ’em?  Thanks!!
