Week 7!

The first half of this week was a pretty normal work week, filled with a few things in the mail.

I got my February Popsugar Must Have box! Some favorites this month were the K Hall Designs travel candle and the Gorjana jewelry roll.

I also got a Stitchfix this week! I’ve been getting them once every few months, and am still loving them.  I actually think that the anticipation of getting one keeps me from spending money on other clothes when I feel like I need them.  This month I kept two items – a 41 Hawthorn teal knit cardigan, and a 41 Hawthorn purple tab sleeve blouse. (Clearly I love that brand because I have several pieces now!)

Also this week  I got a shipment from True&Co.  They are a company that will send you 5 bras to try on (3 you choose, 2 they choose) and you keep what you want,  and only pay for those.  I had a coupon code from PopSugar Must Have for $20 credit, so I decided to give it a shot.  I ended up keeping one of the bras, and I really like it, but all of the other four weren’t really anything that I would buy.  The prices aren’t bad though, not any more than you would spend at Victoria’s Secret.  I’m not sure that I would do it again, but it is an interesting concept.

This week, right before I left, I got my February Studio Calico Feb Kit! Another good one, as always.

The second half of the week I was in the Capital District of New York to visit Heather! We had some other fun plans while I was in town, but the snowstorm decided to change those plans. 🙁 It was a fun snowed in weekend though, even if it didn’t quite go as planned.

We had some delicious beverages and food at Bombers, and several snowed in meals at Heather’s apartment.  We also spent some time working on Healthy Living Summit planning, which was made even more fun through the wonders of technology and Google Hangout.

  1. I love the 41 Hawthorne stuff too! Most of what I tend to keep from Stitch Fix is theirs.

    • I’ve noticed that when you post about it! 🙂 I’m pretty sure that brand is exclusive to Stitchfix, which make me sad that I can’t find it on my own, but also very happy for the state of my bank account.
