Project Life 2014 {Week 8}

This week started with traveling on the MegaBus from the Capital District of New York into New York City! I was there for work Sunday through Wednesday and the time flew by.  I didn’t get much time to do anything besides work and eat, but it was still a fun time.

We had some delicious food, one of the things that I love about New York City, and got lots of work done.  The weather was wonderful while we were there too, it was a great change to not feel like I had to bundle up when I would only be outside for two minutes. OH – and I met Grumpy Cat!

I came how to a few packages waiting for me.  My ipsy bag came, which is always fun.  My favorite thing by far was the Zoya nail polish in Dot, a light pink color.  I’m also kind of intrigued by the liquid eye shadow that I got but haven’t got around to trying it yet.

I also came home to an Influenster Vox Box! My favorite thing in this box is definitely the Hershey’s Kisses.  They are one of my favorite candies, and I haven’t had them in a long time so I forgot how good they were!

Olive also got another Barkbox this week!  It probably is the last one she will get for a while – but only because we have quite the stash of treats to get through before we buy any more.  Luckily though, I think all of them that she has are her type of treats.  She actually is kind of picky and only generally likes smaller and softer treats.

  1. Hi there! It’s been a while since I’ve checked in on your blog. I came across some Project Life stuff at Michael’s last night and remembered you would give updates on it here. I’m very interested in starting an album. It seems like you’ve been doing this a while now. Is it worth it? Is it super easy? How often do you print photos? Do you print at home or do you order prints? Sorry about all the questions but I am genuinely interested and you seem to be an expert 😉

    • Hi!
      Yeah, this is my second year doing Project Life, and I love it! It is basically as easy as you want it to be, and yes, it can be super easy compared to other forms of scrapbooking. You could get away with using just printed photos pen and paper and the plastic sleeves. I print my photos at home, so I print them when I work on it every weekend. It is probably not the cheapest to print them at home, but I like to have them immediately when I am working rather than waiting for them to come in the mail. If you haven’t already checked out the site, here is some more info about Project Life: http://beckyhiggins.com/about-project-life/ And I am by no means an expert, but I’m happy to answer any questions you have! 🙂
