Week 14! Lots of fun things went on this week.
We actually made a new recipe AND tried new foods this week! We made Pineapple, Tofu, and Vegetable Stir Fry, and it was delicious. We also were send some coupons from McDonald’s to try a couple of their items. (Full Disclosure: I was sent some coupons for free items from their PR people. I am not being compensated for this post, or in any way. And of course, all of the opinions are our own.) I finally got to try McDonald’s coffee, which I know a lot of people very much enjoy. I had a French Vanilla Latte and it was honestly better than I had imagined from a fast food restaurant. The husband tried their new Bacon Clubhouse Sandwich. He really enjoyed it, and he actually said that it might be his new choice when eating there and that it definitely tasted higher quality than their regular cheeseburger.
This week (On April 1st to be exact) I started #100HappyDays. Basically instead of doing one of the pre-formatted photo-a-day projects out there, I decided to just post one happy thing each day. More about that in this post.
The Wisconsin Film Festival was going on during this week and the husband and I went and saw Happy Christmas. It is an indie film with Lena Dunham and Anna Kendrick. It is hard to explain what is about without any spoilers, but it was very entertaining, and I would definitely recommend it.
This week I took a beaded bracelet class at Madison Bead Company. The class was small, and the instructor was great, I would definitely recommend taking a class there.
