Restaurant Review: Fuel Pizza

Full Disclosure: I paid for this meal with my own money and am not being in any way compensated for this post.  As always, the opinions are completely my own.

When we arrived in Charlotte, we were pretty beat.  Spending the day in airports lugging around a baby (and all of the things that come with taking a baby on a trip)  is tiring.  By the time we made it to our hotel, we were ready for food, but not wanting to spend energy walking around and go searching for something. So, we opted for delivery.  There was a Fuel Pizza close to our hotel, so we decided to order from there.

Apparently there are Fuel Pizza locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Washington D.C.  So, it is a bit of a chain, but definitely not available in Wisconsin.  I always prefer going to local restaurants in new cities when possible, but I’m also a fan of going to restaurant chains that are not in our area. (and really, I barely call this a chain when it is only in 3 different states)

(obviously I had already started eating the pizza before taking the photo.  Oops!)

The pizza was really delicious! On my half I got just cheese (which you are not surprised by, I’m sure) and the person that I was with got sausage and banana peppers on the other half.  The 14 inch pizza that we got was the perfect size for the two of us to share. (It didn’t get entirely eaten, but the 10 inch definitely would have been too small.)

Taste: A+, really delicious and fresh tasting.
Cost: A, I don’t remember exactly how much it cost, but I don’t remember it being any more expensive than a pizza from any other quality pizza place.

Would I go there again? Yes.  If I was in the market for a pizza delivery in Charlotte again, I would get this pizza.
