After a slightly complicated dessert, I decided to go easy for the pasta dish I made for our Fourth of July gathering. I asked around a bit and someone on Twitter suggested this one: Feta and Vegetable Rotini Salad from Kraft. Not many ingredients, and one of them is Italian dressing, sounded like a great, easy recipe to me! (find it here)
Not only was this recipe easy, but it was tasty too! I know this type of pasta salad is a pretty common thing, but it was the first time I had had it. It was very light and summery and the zing of the Italian dressing had a really great flavor.
Ease: A+, the most difficult thing that is involved is peeling and chopping the cucumbers.
Taste: A, a light and refreshing salad!
Would I make it again? I think so. It would be a good thing to make ahead and eat with my lunches during the week!
